NAPLAN student reports out this week

Parents will start receiving 2018 NAPLAN student reports this week for the assessment conducted in May.

If your student is currently in Year 5 and you intend to apply them for a selective high school in 2020, please see the attachment for more details.

Last day of Term 3 for all students.

First day of Term 4 for students.
Transition day 1 for students that have been applied to enrol for Kindergarten 2019 at BNPS. 9:30am Take your child to the school hall and have their name marked off. Please DO NOT send food on this day. Your child will be given a coloured name tag. Please pin it on and take your child to the area that is the same colour as your child’s name tag. Parents are encouraged to stay at school in the Library each week for a parent workshop led by various teachers and Mrs Sheinwald (Principal) 11:00am Parents collect children from the school hall. Please return the name tag to the teacher in the hall.
Transition day 2 for students that have been applied to enrol for Kindergarten 2019 at BNPS. 9:30am Take your child to the school hall and have their name marked off. Your child will be given a coloured name tag. Please pin it on. Your child will sit in groups that correspond to the colour and on their tag. Parents will go to the Library for further information sessions while children are taken to Kindergarten rooms to do activities. Parents should pack recess (little lunch) for their children. Please include a piece of fruit and a drink. It would be ideal for this food to be contained in a lunchbox so that your child can practise opening and closing a lunchbox. 11:00am Parents collect children from the school hall. Please return the name tag to the teacher in the hall.
